Garage getting closer to completion

We have received the floor, and today we have completed it for 95%. Unfortunately the car is delayed for 3 weeks. The dealer has now confirmed the delivery date as the 28th of April. Angel already booked our trip so we can go and get the car the 1st of May.

News from the dealer!

The dealer has confirmed that the car will be delivered in the week of the 5th of April, and that the car has gone in construction.

It already has a VIN.

What floor

Wow that is not an easy task to make a garage looking good.

I'm looking for a floor. Many of the floors you find very interesting, are rather expensive. As the garage bloc has a crack, I cannot tile it, or use an epoxy.

The garage

Ok, so the car is order, and 10% downpayment has been send. Next task is to finish the garage. So far the walls have been prepared, and have been painted. Next task is to find the floor. This isn't that easy, unless you are willing to spend some big bucks.

There are various options, one I like a lot is SwissTrax, but a bit above the budget my CEO lets me spend.

The decission

Ok, some went by. Yes it is related to the negotiation process with my wife.

Angel didn't like the fact that we have an extinguisher in the car, in front of her seat. And yes, because of the accusump in the back, we lost some space in the trunk. Another point she didn't like. Beside these, for Angel the car is "too much". Too much power, too powerfull brakes, too uncomfortable to drive, bla bla bla. I want this car ;-)

She finally was convinced that this car is a unique car in its kind. YESSS!

As our garage is now empty we will prepare the garage, so when the car is delivered, we have a nice place to store the car.

The quote from the dealer

Ok, we had already sold and delivered the previous Lotus. Now the negotiation process has started. This process is not as usual with a dealer, no this process is between me and my wife.

It all started with picking up the phone and calling the dealer. The dealer send me a very attractive quote. Now I only have convince my wife that this Lotus is the best option for us.

At least I've found a dealer, that provides with a quote that I believe I can convince my wife with.

- Color: Chrome Orange
